What to expect

A free 1 hour (Online) or 1.5 hour (In person), small group workshop

This workshop provides practical strategies to help manage the impact of chronic pain. In a supportive group setting, participants explore ways to improve wellbeing and get more out of daily life

Workshop focus:

  • Strategies for managing pain setbacks
  • Creating plans for pain management at home
  • Practicing relaxation and distraction techniques
  • Approaches to challenging negative thinking and maintaining a positive outlook

No writing is required, and there is no pressure to speak in front of others 

Who is it for?

Anyone aged 18+, living in Wakefield district, or registered with a Wakefield district GP

Where is it?

This workshop is available online via Microsoft Teams, in person at accessible venues across the Wakefield district or access our pre-recorded workshops
